Saha Chatterpaul - Chair

I have had the privilege of serving communities over many years. The catalysts for joining New Hope Community Bikes was my passion for cycling and community service.

In my professional life, I am currently the General Manager for an Engineering firm. We are focused on the  Electronics Manufacturing Services Vertical.

In my personal life, my wife and I travel as much as we can. In addition, my wife and I enjoy "empty nest", which is sometimes pleasantly interrupted by our 3 daughters, their husbands and our Grandchildren.

Kyle Ford - Secretary

I've been involved with the board of New Hope Community Bikes for the past five years but my passion for cycling and community building had drawn me to the shop many years before that. My days are spent as an elementary school teacher in Hamilton and cycling has always been an integral part of my life, fostering exercise, competition, and relationships. I try to bring some of my experience from many summers of running mountain bike camps and programs up north. I reside in downtown Hamilton with my wife and two children. It's an honor to contribute to New Hope and help pedal towards a brighter future.

I've been part of New Hope Community Bikes for a long time!  It has been a few years since I lived in the east end and worked at the shop but I am thrilled to be on the board.  I currently  farm and I am married with two kids, and we are all hooked on cycling!  I enjoy being on the board and staying plugged in.  Happy trails.

I'm excited to be serving as a board member for New Hope Community Bikes. I enjoy cycling, and being active and outdoors. I love travelling and visiting new places. I am an elementary school teacher and reside in Hamilton with my husband, who is also an avid cyclist. Serving the Hamilton community and supporting New Hope Community Bikes is a true privilege, and I am committed to contributing my time and skills to help foster an inclusive cycling culture in our city and beyond.

I joined the board in January 2023 and really enjoy being involved with New Hope Community Bikes. I’d like to say that I’m an avid cyclist but the truth is my family and work take up most of my time. We get out biking as a family when we can because it’s such a great activity that we all love doing together. What I love most is being involved in the community and giving back where I can. I work for a financial institution as a Senior Treasury Specialist and feel my skills can contribute to New Hope Community Bikes’ success.
